Milestones & this and that

I will take a moment to give a quick update on the rockstar :)  That's what this thing is for, right? Anyway, Corinne isn't quite using 2 words phrases consistentlybut her vocabulary is rapidly expanding.  She's still in that stage where she likes to repeat words, leading to our new favorites "nasty," and "nostril." And yes, she knows what a nostril is, along with eyebrow, eyelash, earing, elbow, and shoulder.  She often enjoys pointing these things out on herself or mommy and daddy, and we find it rather endearing.  :) 

Speaking of which, last night she did the funniest thing.  She has a little Oatmeal container that I wrapped in construction paper and decorated for her "word discs" that we made out of canned food lids.  Anyway, she didn't have any discs in the container, but was "dipping" her finger into the container and then "painting" my face (and daddy's too).  She would "paint" both cheeks, our noses, our eyes, then our shoulders and knees.  She played like this for almost a half hour...the only thing I can figure is that she sees me put on lotion and make up...is that what she was playing?  I love to watch her imagination at work!
