For those of you who didn't make it to Purple Cow, you are in luck. I have acquired a video copy of Ryan's astounding performance of N'Sync's "Bye, Bye, Bye" and The Spice Girls' "Wannabe." Anyway, if you don't know what Purple Cow is, let me explain.
Hickman created a fundraiser for the "Not For Sale" campaign to create awareness of human trafficking. In order to do this, they asked student and teacher groups to sign up with a lip-syncing routine, where the final performances would be showcased at the Purple Cow. Groups were given the juding rubric ahead of time (of course in compliance with good AFL practice) and practiced relentlessly to master each slide step and shimmy. The product, as you see here, was humorously entertaining for the audience, and a stepping stone for Ryan's future as a memeber of some boy (or girl, for that matter) band.
