Did I ever mention that I painted over the beigey-yellow, then orange wall? I lived with the orange wall for 6 weeks, at the urging of the paint consultant at Home Depot. Unfortunately, the wall was more pumpkin than burnt, and it was a little much for me. Ryan, on the other hand, really loved it. The problem was that I was going to have to accessorize the orange wall, which I didn't want to invest in. So... 2 cans of this red/burgandy color and 7 coats later...we have the wall we are keeping. At least for now...

the first pic is most like our house!
except now I am getting bored with the red.
but I sure as heck don't want to paint it... and dan has already suffered through 2 paint color changes for the nusery.
