el pared naranja

Ok.

So, I know it is 9:36 on a Saturday night, but I am anxiously waiting for the primer to dry. Yes, primer, as in wall primer, as in the top coat is so saturated it needs a primer.

Orange.

I am painting one wall in the living room orange. At the moment, it is more of a coral/mauve color, but i expected that. I am really anxious to see what this color is going to look like on my wall. I have been to Home Depot a few times in the last week, and started my search knowing I wanted orange- specifically, caramelized orange by Behr. Then I got cold feet, and promptly came home. Then I decided that red was darker, but safer. Then, I narrowed down my search to 4 different colors of red, 2 oranges, and a yellow (i know...I got even more timid as time went on). My mom helped me narrow my pool further until it was between falling leaves and awning red. As evidenced by the title of the post, falling leaves won out.

Well, I am hoping that as I start to apply the top coat, all my SAD symptoms will melt away, and that spring will follow closely on the heels of this home renovation. I'll post the before & afters...Cross your fingers for me :)
