So, I like to think that I am pretty good at finding ways to save money. One of my ventures included trying to take our own Christmas pictures this year. The pics from a few months ago turned out really well, and I was feeling confident. However, I neglected to take into consideration that Corinne is now completely mobile (for-real crawling and pulling up on anything she can reach) and considerably more difficult to control and contain. The following pictures are a testament. :) I was able to get a couple decent ones to use on the Christmas card, and am glad that We didn't have to end up going to a studio somewhere. Every little bit counts, right?
Corinne's first Christmas was so fun. Of course, I am not sure she noticed much of a difference, except the visitors and new toys. Admittedly, I didn't wrap but 2 of her gifts because she is easily distracted, and didn't feel the need to waste the paper. I figure next year...when she is ready to tear into the wrapping , and maybe has more of a grasp of the holiday.
From her vantage, she is loving her learn & groove musical table that she can pull up on and play with. This was a last minute gift idea, and as she has recently started cruising around the living room, it is very appropriate. She has spent much of the last week or so desperately holding onto the couch or coffee table just standing. I am glad that now she'll have something to do as she stands. Yea!
Other updates include Corinne's 9 month stats. We have continuing confirmation that our little girl is just that...a little girl. She was 14.15 lbs (1%) , and a 25 3/4" long (10%). Of course, this wasn't much news to me; if you know Ryan or me, we are small people. She is very healthy, incredibly active, and by all accounts, happy. As we celebrate this holiday together, I can't imagine my life without our darling baby, and feel so blessed by the overwhelming joy that she brings to my life. I love you Corinne! Merry Christmas!
